Meet your new maker! Lakes Supply Co. sells gifts for Minnesota lake lovers, cabin dwellers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Owner and artist Larry Sickmann started the business in 2019 - after he and his family were vacationing on Lake Superior's North Shore and he wanted a unique shirt to commemorate the trip. All of the shirts felt generic and not specific to the area, and when he found one he liked, as turns out, when he returned to work after their trip, a co-worker had the identical shirt with a 'Madeline Island' printed on it.
That's when Larry realized that something needed to be done to give some originality to the places we love. He started creating and hasn't stopped since January 2019. He now offers over 50 lake and outdoor themed designs!
